Welcome to the SCOV (Sun City Oro Valley) Pickleball Club website. Our club is located at Sun City in Oro Valley, Arizona. We are a private club open only to Sun City residents (part and full time) and their invited guests.

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in North America and definitely in Sun City. Our club currently has five outdoor, regulation courts and is one of the largest and most active clubs in Sun City with over 400 members. If you are a SCOV resident or considering living here, come see what the excitement is all about!

Pickleball is a cross between tennis and ping pong. It is played on a badminton size court (one fourth the size of a tennis court) with a low net. Pickleball paddles look like oversize ping pong paddles made of graphite or composite. The balls are hollow plastic with holes in them, similar to Wiffle balls.

Pickleball is easy to learn and a lot of fun to play. If you are brand new to the game we offer a beginner’s Lesson 1 (and provide loaner paddles and balls).

We welcome players of all skill and experience levels. During the winter months, we have a variety of time slots for different levels of play including beginners, casual, mixed and competitive. In the summer we have courts for each skill level for play in early mornings or evenings (under the lights!).

Our club is very social, with events on and off the courts. Our purpose is to provide a fun, friendly and healthy recreational activity and to promote interest in all aspects of pickleball for the residents of SCOV. Membership is only $10pp each year (January through December).

Registration is open to all residents of Sun City Oro Valley.  To do so, click here.
